A Cute Parallel

I've come up with the perfect analogy for the difference between Montreal and New York. In both cities there is a free newspaper called Metro. In Montreal one generally picks it up upon arriving in the metro, and generally gets it read by the time he arrives at work. It's in French, but has the same green logo.

In New York one arrives at Penn, Grand Central, or any other large subway stop and upon arriving at the top of the stairs there are at least five huge black women yelling "METRO!!" and shoving it at you and whoever else is around, which is, needless to say, a lot of people.

Sure it's annoying and inconvenient, but that's the price you pay to have your choice of so many free papers.
